ILM offers a cutting-edge portfolio of unit-based and credit-ready Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQs), providing our approved training providers with the ability to build and deliver programmes that meet their customers' development needs. And because our qualifications are nested, learners are encouraged to continue with their studies and progress onto larger qualifications, bringing repeat business for their training providers. 

ILM qualifications – benefits for training providers

• Because ILM is Europe’s foremost provider of leadership and management qualifications, ILM-approved training providers are recognised for providing their clients the very best in qualification quality and professional recognition
• ILM Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQs) are made up of individual units which are designed to be built up to form qualifications at the three sizes of Award, Certificate and Diploma. The wide selection of units (covering core and specialist skills) can be combined to form custom-built programmes in response to individual and organisational needs – giving training providers the ultimate in qualification flexibility

Learners

Every student taking an ILM qualification receives tailored learner support in the form of trial membership of ILM. This free service provides each learner with a wealth of qualification support, from reading lists and study guides to regular leadership and management news bulletins, helping them to get the full benefit from their ILM learning experience.  

Centres

Organisations seeking to run ILM qualifications go through an approval process before becoming an ILM centre. ILM provides ongoing support before, during and after approval from a dedicated team of advisors.  We also offer existing City & Guilds Centres a lower-cost, fast-track approval process.

Tutors

 ILM is committed to supporting the tutors delivering its qualifications, and offers a wide range of tutor support materials, including learning resources, assessment guidance and online support.
